In continuation of the efforts made for the safety and care of everyone living in the Emirates.. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority continue to implement evacuation plans and facilitate the return of about 500 golden residency holders and residents stranded abroad to the Emirates.

Abu Dhabi, March 15 / WAM / The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority announced the continuation of their efforts to ensure the safety and care of everyone living in the UAE, and the success in securing the return of about 500 golden residency holders residing in the country through air and land ports, after the current conditions in the region prevented them from returning to the country during the last period as a result of the closure of airspace and the disruption of global air traffic.
These efforts embody the UAE’s established humanitarian approach and the vision of the wise leadership to provide support and care to citizens and residents alike, based on the principle of people first, which constitutes a fundamental pillar of the state’s work system, procedures and strategic policies, aiming to enhance the well-being and quality of life of various segments of Emirati society, and provide the highest levels of protection, security and stability, around the clock and wherever they are.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority confirmed that from the first moment of the events that took place in the region, they were prepared to deal with them, by taking the necessary precautionary measures and proactive measures, each within the scope of its jurisdiction, and in coordination and continuous communication with the competent authorities in the country and the representative missions accredited to the country abroad, including continuous monitoring of the developments of the situation and assessing its repercussions, in addition to updating the approved plans in accordance with existing developments, which contributed to enhancing the level of preparedness and ensuring the provision of a rapid response. It is effective in maintaining the safety of citizens and residents, whether inside or outside the country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority reaffirmed that the UAE places the security and safety of its citizens, residents and visitors at the top of its priorities, and that what has been achieved in implementing the evacuation operations reflects the integration of efforts between national authorities and the efficiency of the institutional work system in the country and its ability to deal with various challenges effectively, professionally and competently.
