Field gains .. Russia declares control of a new Ukrainian village

Russia announced on Saturday its control of a new village in the Denipoproprovsk region in the east of central Ukraine, which is the second in this region since its attack in February 2022.
Moscow continues to achieve field gains in Ukraine, while the third round of peace talks between the Russians and the Ukrainians ended on Wednesday in Istanbul without any breakthrough.

The Russian army said in a statement to Telegram. At the beginning of this month, Russia announced its control of the small town of Dachnoi in this region.
The control of Malifka, if Kyiv, confirmed another symbolic setback for the Ukrainian forces.
Any real Russian progress in the Denipoproptrovsk region is a strategic importance in talks that may be held later to find a conflict resolution between the two sides.

Russia’s control of Ukrainian lands

In the Donetsk area in the east, the Russian army also announced on Saturday its control of the village of Zellini Hai, which he described as “a task for the logistical support of the Ukrainian forces.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Zellini Hai was protecting the administrative borders with the Dniprobrofsk region, and published pictures of intense air attacks and soldiers lifting Russian flags on affected buildings in green fields.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is adhering to his demands, especially Kiev, for the Ukrainian regions annexed by Russia, and Ukraine abandons its desire to join NATO (NATO), conditions that Ukraine and its Western allies consider unacceptable.

Russian Ukrainian negotiations

Ukraine wants a full withdrawal of Russian forces, which occupies about 20% of its total area.
Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski said that negotiators from Kiev and Moscow discussed the possibility of holding a meeting between him and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, during their talks in Istanbul this week.
But the Kremlin excluded Friday, a similar meeting within 30 days.
