Sharjah children offer a variety of programs and events during the first half

Sharjah, July 31 / WAM / “Sharjah Children” – affiliated with the “quarter -century for leaders and innovators” – implemented more than 110 specialized programs and effectiveness that targeted more than 8,300 children and children in the age group from 6 to 12 years, recording a qualitative achievement that translated its vision in building a creative and able generation.
The programs varied to include about 100 specialized programs, with the participation of 3800 affiliates, which focused on empowering children in their favorite fields, and stimulating their creative and leadership capabilities.
In the sports track, the children went through distinguished experiences, most notably climbing for the first time, as well as advanced sports workshops, football, judo, taekwondo, athletics and swimming games and their involvement in sports incubators and the professional pool, which focused on developing motor skills and promoting their fitness.
In the arts, the artistic workshops witnessed a great turnout by children, the most prominent of which are: “Fine Arts” workshops under the supervision of the artist Najat Makki, which aimed to link children’s dreams to their future visions and “artificial intelligence art” workshops that merged between technology and heritage in an innovative optical style. Other workshops included enrichment experiences such as “palm journey”, “art of Iberro” and “three -dimensional art”.
In the path of arts and languages, a series of educational workshops were presented, the most prominent of which is the “Fantasy World” workshop, which provided a stimulating environment for creative writing, interactive learning, and “Journey with the Qur’an” workshops in cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, where children learn to recite, improve the verses and understand their meanings.
In the field of science and technology, specialized programs that enhance analytical thinking and technical skills such as “The Comone Program” and “UAE programmer” have also been presented. Children also acquired personal and professional skills within the programs of life skills path through various skill workshops such as workshops provided to “Sharjah Children Shura” who focused on developing their skills in expression, dialogue, discussing ideas and important issues in society in addition to other programs such as sewing Carpentry and recycling, in addition to providing activities in theater, performance arts and music, as well as seasonal programs, camps and joint projects with a quarter of a century.
The Foundation also organized a 14th event and a qualitative initiative in which more than 4,500 children participated, including: “Sports and Arts Festival”, “Fun Car” and “Emirati Child Day” and participating in the “Sharjah Reading Festival for Child” in addition to community meetings and educational initiatives.
As for the competitive participants, about 500 children participated in 20 local and international prizes and competitions during which they won 30 prizes and medals, the most prominent of which are: the Arab Judo Championship in Jordan, the Arab Clubs Championship, the Emirates Judo Cup, the Emirates Taekwondo Championship, the Sheikha Latifa Prize for Childhood Creativity, the Environmental Chart Competition and other local and international competitions.
Noura Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of “Sharjah Children”, stressed that the achievements achieved during the first half of the year reflects the Foundation’s commitment to its vision in empowering children and developing their various talents, as we believe in Sharjah children that the child is the nucleus of change and the future maker, so we are keen to design quality programs, educational experiences and various interaction that take into account their needs, keep pace with their aspirations, enhance their skills, give them the space to express and experience The discovery is certain that the Foundation will continue in the second half of the year in providing innovative experiences, community initiatives, national and international participation that keeps pace with the aspirations of children and opens new horizons for learning and growth.
