What is the truth about the arrest of the artist Wafaa Amer?

A source close to the artist, Wafaa Amer, denied all the rumors recently promoted on social media about her arrest or involvement in cases contrary to the law, stressing that she resides in her home in the northern coast, completely far from any suspicions or accusations.

This came in the words of the artist, Nihal Anbar, who shared the image of Lafa Amer through her official account on “Instagram”, and commented: “There is no truth to what was rumored about the arrest of Wafaa Amer or her involvement with the recently arrested Blueger Group, as she is present in her home in the northern coast and is completely far from any suspicion”, in a direct response to the news that dealt with alleged accusations of members trade.

Wafaa Amer had issued an official statement in which she denied a rumor that Egypt left or escaped from investigations, confirming her staying inside the country and its follow -up to the progress of legal procedures, expressing her complete confidence in the integrity of the Egyptian judiciary and its role in revealing the truth.

In the context of her defense of her reputation, the artist submitted formal reports against a content maker called “Marwa” on the “Tek Tok” platform, after the latter published videos accusing her of illegal acts.

Wafa explained that these accusations are unfounded, and described it as an attempt to target her artistic career and person, confirming her adherence to resorting to the judiciary to protect her rights.

The roots of the crisis are due to the circulation of rumors of Wafaa Amer’s involvement in a case related to a number of social media content makers, before the artist asserted her full deny these allegations and her continuation in her normal life away from these accusations. (Fuchsia)
