He explained that one of the most prominent initiatives that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working on is empowering the private sector, to be a major partner in providing innovative and creative services to the guests of God, indicating that the Ministry has provided the necessary technical infrastructure to support this trend, through a package of digital solutions, including the “Nusk” card, in addition to deploying smart sensors in the camps, which contribute to improving crowd management and raising the efficiency of operational processes.

He indicated that the focus during the Hajj season Hajj this year will focus largely on the accuracy of grouping, by organizing the movement of pilgrims between the holy sites according to specific timetables for entry and exit from the camps, in a way that enhances flow and reduces crowding, stressing that these plans are subject to careful tests through hypotheses that simulate the field reality.

He added that the ministry raised expectations regarding the quality of housing for pilgrims in the Mina and Arafat sites compared to previous seasons, pointing out that the Hajj system achieved last year. The satisfaction rate reached 91% among the guests of God, which is a positive indicator, but at the same time it constitutes an incentive for further development.

Dr. Mashat stated that the real challenge that the system has in mind is to maintain this percentage and work to exceed it, through continuous improvement in services and greater integration between the concerned authorities, stressing that the guests of God deserve the highest levels of service, in light of the support provided by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
