Abu Dhabi, August 28 / WAM / The UAE Chamber Federation announced the formation of the new Emirates Business Women Council at its seventh session, headed by His Excellency Aisha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla.
According to a press release issued today, this formation comes so that the Council continues its role in empowering Emirati women in the field of entrepreneurship and enhancing their presence in the economic sector, in order to keep pace with the state’s directions in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al -Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of the UAE Chambers Union, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed that the United Arab Emirates is keeping pace with the rapid growth of various economic and commercial developments, and has become a global example to be followed by its remarkable exception in the indicators of women’s empowerment in the business sector.
He explained that this superiority did not come from a vacuum, but rather came as a result of a wise leadership vision and continuous support that puts the empowerment of women at the core of the basic indicators of the state, which made the Emirati experience a model referred to as leadership at the regional and international levels.
He added that the state is continuing to strengthen its location an attractive environment for entrepreneurship and innovation, ensuring a broader participation of women in formulating the future of the national economy.
For his part, His Excellency Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary -General of the Emirates Chambers Union, praised the new formation of the Emirates Business Women Council, which comes at a time when the global scene is witnessing a rivalry in the business sector directed to women, stressing that the new council with its various competencies and experiences headed by His Excellency Aisha Muhammad Saeed Al -Mulla, a qualitative addition to the march of economic empowerment. He expressed his confidence that the council will work to open new horizons for business entrepreneurs, and to provide platforms for communication and partnerships regionally and internationally, in order to enhance the position of Emirati women and devote their presence as a major player in the global economy.
For her part, His Excellency Aisha Mohamed Saeed Al Mulla, President of the Emirates Business Women Council, valued the continuous support and care that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, the honorary president of the Emirates Business Women Council, for the march of women’s empowerment, stressing that the qualitative achievements of Emirati women came thanks to her vision of good And her belief in her capabilities, which enabled her to achieve leadership in various fields, especially in the entrepreneurial sector, where she had opportunities and has mocked the capabilities to take her prestigious position in the economic empowerment system regionally and internationally.
It is noteworthy that the Emirates Business Women Council, which was established in 2001, aims in its new formation to provide a stimulating environment to establish projects, refine the skills of business leaders, and introduce them to legislation and economic policies, as well as directing them towards benefiting from government initiatives and motivations at the federal and local levels, in order to enhance their contribution to the economic growth process of the UAE.
