Sharjah Airport receives the first flight of a company "Fly Sham"

Sharjah on August 28 / WAM / Sharjah Airport announced the start of the flights of the fly -Sham airline to Sharjah from today in a move that reflects the airport’s position as a major destination for regional and international tankers and adds new travel options to travelers as part of its constant keenness to expand the network of destinations and enhance weather ties with sister countries.
The opening trip was received in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Al -Hamoudi, Director of the Customer Service Department at the Sharjah International Airport Authority, and Hamdi Khalaf, commercial director of “Fly Sham”, along with a number of officials and managers from both sides.
Fly Sham is scheduled to run 5 scheduled flights per week between Damascus and Sharjah on Airbus 320 aircraft, in addition to two flights per week between Aleppo and Sharjah.
His Excellency Ali Salem Al -Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, stressed that the launch of “Fly Sham” flights to Sharjah represents an important addition in the march of Sharjah Airport by expanding and strengthening the air link network, as this step contributes to meeting the increasing demand for travel between the UAE and Syria.
For his part, Captain Musa Boutros, CEO of Fly Sham, said that the launch of our new flights represents a strategic step towards expanding our network and destinations and enhancing our presence in the region’s markets, indicating that the choice of Sharjah Airport reflects confidence in its position as an integrated global center as it is characterized by advanced infrastructure and high -quality services, which provides our travelers with a smooth and distinctive travel experience.
