Expo Sharjah participates in"The Middle East Summit for the International Association for Meetings and Conferences" Balhrin

Manama, September 4 / WAM / The Sharjah Expo Center represented by His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al -Midfa, CEO of the Center, member of the Consultative Council for Conferences and Exhibitions of the World Trade Centers Association at the Middle East Summit for the International Association for Constituents and Conferences 2025, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain for the first time with the participation of a group of leaders, innovators and decision makers in the exhibition sector along with more than 100 experts and specialists from the region And the world.

During the summit, His Excellency held a series of meetings and work meetings with a number of officials and parties participating in the event.

During his meeting with His Excellency Dr. Senteth Gopainath, his Executive Chairman of the International Association for Conferences and Conferences (ICCA) discussed the priorities of strengthening the international business activities sector and the importance of artificial intelligence in developing conference and meetings industry.

The two sides stressed the need to intensify cooperation between the global exhibition centers and build strategic partnerships to organize specialized exhibitions that contribute to supporting the various economic sectors.

The cannon also met His Excellency Sarah Ahmed Bouhaji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain International Exhibition Center, discussed the prospects for future cooperation, exchanging experiences and experiences between the two sides, unifying efforts to attract major events and conferences, and work to improve the infrastructure supporting this vital sector in a way that enhances the region’s competitiveness on the map of international events.

The cannon emphasized that the participation of the Expo Sharjah Center at the summit comes within the framework of its commitment to support the growth of the meeting and exhibition industry in the region, explaining that Expo Sharjah is keen to enhance innovation and regional integration to improve the quality of events in addition to working continuously to adopt international best practices and enhance infrastructure and seek to integrate modern technology and artificial intelligence in the exhibition sector as it has become a decisive factor in This vital sector has evolved, praising the Bahrain International Exhibition Center as one of the most prominent and latest facilities in the region.

The summit included comprehensive dialogue sessions, specialized workshops and inspiring discussions that touched on a number of important topics to formulate the future of the meeting, conferences and exhibitions sector worldwide.
