Full readiness of Sharjah Civil Defense to secure the night of the 27th of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr

The Sharjah Civil Defense Authority announced that it has raised its maximum level of readiness in preparation for commemorating the twenty-seventh night of the holy month of Ramadan and welcoming Eid Al Fitr. This proactive step comes within a comprehensive field plan aimed at strengthening prevention measures and speed of response, while raising the level of readiness of specialized teams and mechanisms to deal immediately with all reports around the clock, ensuring the consolidation of the safety and prevention system throughout the emirate.
Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, Brigadier Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, confirmed that the authority has developed an integrated operational plan commensurate with the community density and the large presence of worshipers in mosques during the last ten days of Ramadan.
He explained that the work system in the emirate depends on a wide network of field centers equipped with the latest mechanisms and advanced communication systems that connect field teams to operating rooms that operate around the clock, allowing real-time follow-up of reports and directing the nearest focal point to the site of the event within minutes, within a preventive approach that focuses primarily on protecting lives and property.
The authority’s plan also includes intensifying field inspection tours around mosques and vital facilities that witness increased demand during the last days of the holy month, to ensure the efficiency of prevention and safety systems and to provide the necessary instructions to those in charge of them.
In this context, the Authority issued a call to community members to fully adhere to public safety guidelines, cooperate with civil defense teams, and avoid any practices that may pose a danger, while emphasizing the importance of monitoring children to ensure their safety and enable the specialized teams to perform their tasks successfully and professionally.
