5 million beneficiaries of an initiative "The fruits of your charity"

Dubai, September 4 /WAM /The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai, in conjunction with the International Day of Charitable Action, announced the results of the “Fruits of Your Eeds” initiative, which it launched in cooperation with a number of charitable institutions and societies, where the initiative recorded more than 5 million beneficiaries until August 2025 and the value of the total expenses reached about 441 million dirhams.
The education and health sectors acquired the largest share of these expenses in a reflection of the growing human impact of the initiative to support individuals and families within the state.
The department explained that education and health formed the largest share of spending, as approximately 118 million dirhams were allocated to cover the costs of treatment, buy medical devices and support scientific research. The initiative has also allocated about 35 million dirhams to support residential stability for needy families, while approximately 39 million dirhams were distributed to other community initiatives.
His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al -Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai, stressed that charitable work in the Emirates is a extended march that embodies the values of solidarity and compassion on which society is based, noting that the initiative of “the fruits of your charity” represents a prominent model that covers the various aspects of life and social while committing to discipline and transparency through inspection and accurate follow -up to ensure goodness reaching its beneficiaries. His Excellency added that the international day of charitable work confirms that our message in spreading goodness will remain continuous and renewed.
For his part, Mohamed Dahi Musabah, Executive Director of the Charitable Action Sector, stressed that the numbers achieved for the initiative reflect the great confidence that the people of goodness give to the department to be the faithful bridge between their donations and those who deserve it, explaining that the sector continues to develop initiatives and enhance societal and institutional partnerships in a way that contributes to expanding the circle of benefit and achieving the aspirations of the rational leadership in establishing the values of giving and charity.
