“Tenders”: 1.6 million dinars to renovate a building at the Psychiatric Hospital

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes of 4 public tenders, submitting 17 different bids, including a tender to the Ministry of Works, for the renovation of the Ibn Al-Nafis Building at the Psychiatric Hospital in Salmaniya. The Ministry stated that the project aims to rehabilitate the current building of Ibn Al-Nafis Hospital to accommodate long-term psychiatric patients, with a capacity of 86 beds, and to meet all medical needs. She explained that the project will consist of wings for men and women, isolation rooms with offices for employees, and supporting medical facilities, as it obtained 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 1.6 million dinars.

For its part, the Bahrain International Circuit wants to appoint a contractor to supply and replace accessories for the spectator stands and seats at the Bahrain International Circuit, as it received two bids, the least of which amounted to 799 thousand dinars.

In turn, Bapco Refining Company wishes to supply three types of fire-fighting foam, in order to ensure the safety and protection of Bapco’s assets, in accordance with the technical specifications contained in the attached tender documents, as it obtained 3 bids, the least of which amounted to 135 thousand dinars.

In another tender for Bapco Refining, the company intends to purchase the lower casing section of the medium straight operating column (MSR) for the CDUA 4 crude oil distillation unit as part of the engineering activities planned during the upcoming transformation and inspection period (TY) scheduled to take place in 2027. It obtained 5 bids, the least of which amounted to 52 thousand dinars.
