The high trade balance deficit of the United States during July

Washington on September 4/ WAM/ The data of the US Department of Commerce issued today (Thursday) showed the increase in the United States’s trade balance deficit more than expected during the month of July, with the increase in the value of imports.
The German News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the trade deficit increased during July to 78.3 billion dollars compared to 59.6 billion dollars during June and according to the modified data, while analysts expected to rise to 75.7 billion dollars compared to 60.2 billion dollars during the previous month, according to initial data.
The increase in the trade deficit came, with the value of imports increased by 5.9% annually to 358.8 billion dollars, while the value of exports increased by 0.3% to 280.5 billion dollars.
