المملكة: Al-Qassim: 50 Ramadan exhibitions to restrict tobacco and refer hundreds of smokers for treatment
Enable Qassim Health Complex through The month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH, fifty awareness exhibitions targeting walking paths and cafes, to enhance the efforts of Combat smoking and help the community to quit, recording 246 people being referred to specialized clinics.
This field awareness movement comes within the objectives of the anti-smoking program aimed at reaching all segments of society, and providing effective medical support to those wishing to get rid of this scourge.
The gathering explained that the health teams have targeted, since the beginning of the blessed month, locations with a high human density, to include walking paths in public parks and youth gathering places.

The educational tours extended to sessions dedicated to selling tea and match-following sites, to ensure that the program’s preventive message is conveyed to the largest possible segment during peak Ramadan times.
These intensive efforts resulted in more than 2,500 people benefiting from the guidance messages and direct services provided by specialized cadres in the field.
The gathering concluded its statistics by confirming the success of the teams in convincing and referring hundreds of beneficiaries to approved anti-smoking clinics, to complete Their treatment programs enhance the quality of life and public health in the region.
