"Anwar Gargash Academy" It receives a new batch of future diplomats
Abu Dhabi, September 5/ WAM/ Anwar Gargash Diplomacy Academy received a new batch of students of its academic programs for the academic year 2025-2026, the eleventh batch of graduate diploma students in Emirati diplomacy and international relations, the ninth batch of students of arts in international affairs and diplomatic leadership, and the fifth batch of master’s literature students in Humanitarian and developmental works, and the second batch of master’s literature students in international law, human rights and diplomatic relations.
The event for the reception of new students, “Future Diplomats”, was organized yesterday at the Academy headquarters in Abu Dhabi in the presence of His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to His Highness the President of the State, Supreme President of the United Arab Emirates, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, His Excellency Nikolai Mladenov, Director General of the Academy, and His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director General of the Academy.
In his speech to a welcoming speech, His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh stressed that Emirati diplomacy is now more than a tool for political negotiation, but rather turned into a strategic way to enhance world development and peace, pointing to the strategic role that Emirati diplomacy plays in bringing peace and supporting development programs around the world.
He said that diplomacy in today’s world is no longer limited to political negotiation, but also has become a strategic tool for building economic partnerships that support the national development process, and a humanitarian bridge that carries hope and support for peoples in times of distress and a means to enhance the state’s external relations and expand its presence and impact on the regional and international arenas.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al -Neyadi stressed the importance of the role of youth in formulating the present and future of the UAE and enhancing its global presence.
He said that the UAE is keen to perpetuate the message of peace, tolerance and openness to the world within its national approach within the framework of comprehensive development, as these principles were not just slogans, but a reality that we live, a policy practiced, and a firm belief in its international relations, and the state has realized since its foundation that the real investment in the future of this message is only by empowering its youth to be ambassadors carrying the values of the Emirates in international forums.
For his part, His Excellency Nikolai Mladenov welcomed the new students from future diplomats, saying that their journey in the academy will not only study theories, but to acquire practical experiences, for every discussion, every realistic simulation and every political dialogue, was designed to reflect the current global challenges, and to provide them with the ability to make correct decisions, and a balanced vision towards positions Vacation, and act with responsibility and integrity at all times.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri expressed his happiness at receiving the new batch of students, noting that their educational career will be full of challenges that will open up the opportunities for learning and self -development, so every experience they will go through will bring them a step towards achieving their aspirations, stressing his confidence in their capabilities that qualify them to be a new generation of future diplomats who hold the values of the Emirates wherever they come to the values of tolerance Openness, and peace.
