United Nations experts urge the General Assembly to respond to famine and genocide in Gaza

Human rights experts at the United Nations made an urgent appeal to hold an emergency meeting of the General Assembly before September 17, calling on the international community to move the urgent movement to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine, in light of the continuation of what they described as genocide and famine made in the Gaza Strip. Humanitarian aid, immediate ceasefire, ending the siege, and called on the General Assembly to take a decisive leadership position to prevent the aggravation of the disaster, stressing that half a million people in Gaza suffer from hunger, and (361) Palestinians, including (130) children, spent the famine during the past twenty -four, at a time when the human emergency has reached levels of no Egger.
