“Emirates Media” participates in the International Forum for Government Communication

Dubai, September 8 / WAM / The Emirates Media Council participates in the 14th edition of the International Government Communication Forum, which is organized by the Emirate of Sharjah on September 10 and 11 under the slogan “Communication for the Quality of Life”, as part of its efforts to enhance media policies that support digital quality of life and adopt a responsible media environment.
The Council reviews its experience in developing integrated organizational frameworks for media content, based on setting clear standards that ensure the protection of national values ​​and identity, and to enhance positive community messages.

The council also enables the content makers through a flexible organizational environment that stimulates creativity and encourages the production of purposeful content, while enhancing confidence in the digital space by ensuring the accuracy and transparency of information.

These efforts are an essential pillar to improve the quality of digital life, and to consolidate the position of the media as an active partner in building societal awareness and supporting government communication messages.
His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al -Shehhi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Media Council, stressed that the International Forum for Government Communication has established its position as a leading platform to communicate with local and international partners, and to exchange visions on best practices in communication and media, indicating that the council’s participation comes to confirm that the quality of digital life begins with the quality of media organization, and that building a responsible media environment is a direct investment in humans and society.
He pointed out that the “advertiser” statement, which was launched by the Emirates Media Council, is the focus of the council’s participation in the forum, as it aims to organize the advertisements of content makers on social media according to specific criteria.

During the participation, the council presents the most prominent obligations and conditions related to the permit, and allows content makers the opportunity to direct and fast registration to obtain it, enabling them to provide messages in an organized and responsible media environment that reflects the positive values ​​of society.
The council participates in the exhibition accompanying the forum with an interactive wing that defines visitors with its initiatives and services, and allows them to experience the tools of content to organize and interact with them, learn about the criteria of digital advertisements, and the mechanisms of protecting digital space, reflecting its message in making the media a tool for empowerment and providing influential and positive communication bridges with the public and a guarantee of the quality of life, and in line with the goals of the year of society in which the UAE celebrates during 2025.
In this year’s session, the forum provides an integrated vision to expand communication roles to become a tool influencing food security, public health, education, environmental sustainability, and the green economy, all of which are axes that meet at one goal, which is the quality of human life.

The forum raises the issue of food security as a pillar of social and economic stability, highlighting the role of government communication in building sustainable food awareness, stimulating the adoption of agricultural systems and modern technologies that ensure optimal use of resources and maintains biological diversity.
