المملكة: For the first time .. planting 300 trees "See you" Sea water in Jeddah and Rabigh

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, represented by its branches in Jeddah and Rabigh, launched the initiative “Arak Arak Al -Qazem”, which aims to grow more than 300 trees Arak using Saline sea water directly in irrigation. The supervisor of the initiative, Eng. Khadr Al -Ghamdi, explained that the use of sea water in agriculture reflects the ministry’s keenness to find sustainable and innovative solutions to environmental challenges. /> For his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Makkah Al -Mukarramah Region, Engineer Walid Al Daghis, stressed that this initiative exceeds that it is just an agricultural project to become an applied model for achieving sustainable development goals." target ="_Blank"> Desertification , in addition to its role in reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality and urban scene. The goals are fully in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision targets aimed at achieving environmental sustainability and enhancing the quality of life for citizens and residents.
