Dubai, September 15 / WAM / The activities of the “ISM Middle East 2025” exhibition were launched today at the Dubai World Trade Center, the only commercial event in the area allocated for sweets and snacks, which will continue until September 17.
The current session of the exhibition is witnessing a remarkable international momentum, as international exhibitors constitute 86% of the total participants, with the presence of 700 exhibitors from 66 countries, which establishes Dubai’s position as a leading global center in this vital sector.
The event attracts the attention of major international brands and industry leaders in the presence of representatives of prominent companies such as Carrefour, Dubai Free Market, Dankan, Emirates Airlines and International Marriott.
The edition of this year is characterized by the expansion of international participation, as it hosts for the first time exhibitors from 11 countries that include, Armenia, Australia, Costa Rica, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Mexico, and Portugal, along with the major leading companies in the field from China, Greece, India, Morocco, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
The Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa region is currently topped by the list of the most developed global markets in the field of sweets and snacks in light of the increasing demand for these goods.
Sweets sales and snacks in these markets are expected to reach approximately 389.8 billion US dollars, bypassing the rates of increasing candy sales in Europe and North America.
