Why do women feel more pain than men? Science resolves controversy

Recent studies have revealed that women are actually more sensitive to men than men, unlike the common idea that experiences such as birth and menstrual cycle make them more tolerance.

Professor Jeffrey Mujel from McGil University confirmed that the gender difference has become a scientific stabilization, while Dr. Sean Makki of Stanford University explained that the issue is not only related to the degree of pain, but also to the presence of various nervous and immunological patterns.

The role of hormones and genes
Migraines are more common among women after puberty.
The severity of chronic pain differs with the menstrual periods.
CGRP protein does not cause migraines in men, but it causes severe attacks in women, which led to the development of their own drugs.

Research also shows that half of chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and irritable colon affect women, compared to only 20% in men.
