The United States has approved a potential sale of military equipment to Germany worth approximately $11.9 billion.
A US State Department statement said that this proposed sale will support the foreign policy and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a member state of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
According to a US State Department statement, Germany seeks to obtain eight integrated combat systems, modern radar systems, and guided missile launch systems, among other equipment.
