Ras Al Khaimah, September 19/ WAM/ The Human Resources Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Government won the prestigious Star Award – Golden Category, as part of the awards for sustainable and transforming achievements, “SHRM Star Awards” presented by the Human Resources Management Association (SHRM), for the category of excellence in equality, diversity and inclusion, during the activities of the annual SHRM conference for the Middle East and North Africa, North Africa, Holding in the city of Jumeirah – Dubai, in a new achievement added to the record of national successes.
This award is one of the highest awards in the field of human resources, as it honors the achievements that exceed the traditional style of institutional work, and reflects ambitious strategies that focus on innovation and the results of sustainable institutional performance.
The department’s victory came in appreciation of its pioneering efforts in the field of learning and development, which was not just an institutional initiative, but rather an embodiment of a real commitment to building the country by qualifying young national competencies, sponsoring equality, empowering women, and promoting job diversity.
The department works to design and implement multidimensional development programs, focusing on enabling talents and making a work environment in which everyone feels appreciation, respect and belonging, which directly reflected on promoting institutional performance and human sustainability in government agencies affiliated with the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
On this occasion, His Excellency Sheikha Al -Habsi, Deputy Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Government, said that the department won the Star Award for the Golden Category in the Category of Excellence in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is the culmination of a continuous march of commitment to a clear vision to empower individuals.
He added that the department believes that the comprehensive and fair work environment is the basis for innovation and institutional distinction, and this estimate reflects the collective efforts of its team and its strategic partnerships that supported its career in enabling national competencies, and building a flexible government system based on diversity and empowering women and youth.
