Cinema offers a political and societal message

Commenting on the file of the government, the star Nadia Al -Jundi said, what does the film makers want from the government to return the cinema to her position? The seventh day has opened the discussion: “The government must be concerned with the art of cinema, this seventh art, because cinema is the memory of the nation, which constitutes the conscience of young people and children, so cinema dates, and provides a message that is not only artistic or societal, but it also provides a political message, that is, it has a close link to politics.”

Nadia Al -Jundi added, “I want to point out that the fundamental matter is for the government to put this seventh art, or the cinema industry, at the top of its priorities, as it is said, the cinema is an industry and art together, or it is art, trade and a combined industry, and therefore it is called the film industry, so the state must pay fully attention, and not leave it in the hands of the private sector that may harm it, and therefore the impressive topics that serve the society”.

Nadia Al -Jundi continued, “I personally produced such films in a previous period. I and the producer Mohamed Mukhtar, we were producing purposeful, political, national, social, and films that fight drugs and terrorism, and this is at the heart of the government’s jurisdiction, and no one can do it now, it may be said that the production of these films is very expensive, but the government is able to this huge production.” (Seventh Day)
