Do cosmetics need a refrigerator? Experts answer

Experts assert that most care products go through the stability testing stage before putting them in the market, including exposing them to different conditions: moderate heat of 23 degrees, high temperatures of up to 40, and low heat. If the product fails in these tests, it is not declared to market it. This means that most of the products are safely stored at room temperature for up to three years.
However, there are exceptions that include home -made preparations, or those with a very short shelf life, as it is recommended to keep them in the refrigerator until they last for two weeks at most.
In terms of additional benefits, cooling may help maintain some sensitive ingredients such as vitamin C or vitamin A and plant extracts, as well as enhances the effectiveness of products such as eye circumference creams and masks that give the skin immediately and reduce the signs of fatigue.
But the most important warning is what saves products in the bathroom, as heat changes and high humidity causes them to damage them quickly.
Thus, cooling is not compulsory, but it may be a smart choice for some installations or to enhance the feeling of recovery when using.
