Abdullah bin Zayed holds a reception in New York and confirms: International partnerships are the pillar of sustainable development
New York, September 26 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs held an official reception on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The reception, which was held at the headquarters of the State Mission in New York, was attended by a number of heads of state and governments and foreign ministers of Gulf, Arab and foreign countries, in addition to senior officials in international organizations, along with members of the official state delegation participating in the United Nations General Assembly.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the attendees, stressing that the UAE believes that positive and constructive international partnerships constitute a basic pillar to support sustainable development efforts and enable peoples to live in a environment that prevails in peace, stability and tolerance.
His Highness pointed to the importance of collective international work, stressing that the role of this cooperative approach is multilateral not only to face the current challenges, but also extends to drawing the features of the future through investing in man, supporting innovation, promoting totalitarianism, and establishing the values of justice, peace and coexistence.
His Highness expressed his wishes for all the participants in the meetings of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York with success, and positive and constructive discussions.
