Dubai Chambers are looking to enhance trade and investment relations with the business community in Ireland

Dublin, October 5 / WAM / Dubai Chamber discussed the prospects for commercial and investment opportunities jointly with the public and private sectors in the Republic of Ireland, with the aim of documenting economic partnerships between business societies, opening new areas for growth and cooperation in various strategic sectors.
This came during an official visit organized by “Dubai Chambers” to the Irish capital Dublin, headed by His Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers and the participation of His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, and a number of businessmen from Dubai, within the framework of the “Growth Corridors” initiative that aims to enhance trade and investment cooperation between Dubai and global markets.
During the visit, Dubai Chamber delegation held a series of meetings and meetings with officials of a number of governmental and private institutions in Ireland to discuss ways to develop joint work in a group of priority economic sectors.
The list of entities with which the rooms discussed the areas of joint cooperation several institutions, including “Enterprise Ireland”, the Dublin Trade Chamber, the Irish Strategic Investment Fund, and the Foreign Investment Authority in Ireland.
The rooms also discussed ways to enhance cooperation with well -known Irish innovation centers and entrepreneurship that included “Dujabs Bus”, which is the most prominent center for supporting startups in Ireland, and includes more than 250 local technical companies in various stages of their growth, which is the center that runs national accelerators in Ireland and “Genesis Enterprise Centre”, which is a non -profit business center that provides services for more than 120 companies Emerging in various sectors with a focus on accelerating the growth of startups through innovation, and “Novo UCD”, an innovation center for startups of the Dublin College University funded by the Irish government and the European Union, and supporting more than 550 companies in its early growth stages.
His Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, said that Dubai is continuing to establish its position as a leading world center for business by building strategic partnerships with the most prominent international markets, foremost of which is the Republic of Ireland, and we are committed to enhancing our efforts to add quality dimensions and new paths for the movement of trade and investment between Dubai and the countries of the world, in a way that contributes to opening new horizons for business societies to achieve sustainable growth and promising investment opportunities.
During the meetings, the integrated support provided by the Dubai Chambers to Irish companies wishing to establish their business in the emirate and expand from them to the regional and global markets, including linking with potential partners and customers and developing joint projects and investments between business societies in Dubai and Ireland, in addition to highlighting the investment opportunities provided by Dubai for Irish entrepreneurs in the field of digital economy.
Discussions dealt with ways to enhance cooperation between Dubai and Ireland companies in a number of economic sectors, including financial investments, financing, services, transportation and logistics, in addition to capital investments and digital sectors, as well as innovation and advanced technologies and others.
The promising opportunities that Dubai abound in these sectors were highlighted to benefit the Irish companies, as well as ways to provide direct support to attract Irish investments to Dubai, and to help Dubai companies expand the Irish market in order to achieve common interests.
The value of non -oil trade between Dubai and Ireland reached 4.1 billion dirhams in 2024 a growth of 20% on an annual basis, while 62 new Irish companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce membership during the first 6 months of this year, bringing the total number of Irish companies active registered in the room membership to 460 companies by the end of the first half of 2025.
