The President of the State and the King of Jordan are discussing regional developments
Abu Dhabi, October 6 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, today received a phone call from his brother His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al -Hussein, King of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during which they discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two brotherly countries.
His Highness and His Majesty, the King of Jordan, reviewed – during the call – a number of regional and international issues of common concern, foremost of which are developments in the Middle East region … affirming the support of the two countries all the efforts and initiatives aimed at stopping the permanent shooting in the Gaza Strip … stressing the importance of pushing towards establishing a comprehensive and fair peace that is based on a “two -state solution” as it is the only way to achieve stability and security in the region for the benefit of all its peoples And its countries.
They also stressed the importance of strengthening Arab work and joint coordination in light of the challenges taking place in the region.
