Without losses..a 4.6 magnitude earthquake hits Papua New Guinea


Hit An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale today, Wednesday, Papua New Guinea.

It reported The United States Geological Survey said that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 66 kilometers west of the city "Lay"and at a depth of 58.5 kilometers. There were no reports of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.

Papua New Guinea is located in the so-called Ring of Fire, an area that extends along the coast of the Pacific Ocean and is characterized by high earthquake and volcanic activity. This region includes 90% of the active volcanoes in the world.
