Iranian chief negotiator: We prefer diplomacy with America


The head of the Shura Council, chief negotiator, said Mohammed Baqir Qalibaf Tuesday that It gives priority to diplomacy with the United States, but remains prepared for war.

He said In an interview with state television: "We are continuing the dialogue, but if the dialogue is not implemented, we are also prepared for war and we will respond accordingly"While Iranian and American delegations were scheduled to hold separate talks in Doha.

The American blockade

The chief Iranian negotiator said that Iran was not able to export any barrel of oil during the American blockade on its ports, indicating that exports have increased strongly since it was lifted.

Qalibaf continued: "From the day the blockade was lifted until today, we have exported more than 40 million barrels of oil"

He added: "In contrast, during the previous fifty to sixty days, we were not actually able to export even a single barrel of oil".
