Report: 3 Israeli soldiers were injured in the Rafah attacks

A reserve soldier was seriously injured as a result of an anti-tank missile being fired, and two soldiers were moderately wounded by sniper fire in Rafah on Sunday.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported: The Israeli army said that a reserve soldier in the Gaza Division’s Engineering Equipment Force was seriously injured in the incident in Rafah, in which Major Yaniv Kula and Staff Sergeant Itai Yaabets were killed.
The soldier was evacuated to receive medical treatment in a hospital, and his family was informed. In addition, two soldiers were moderately wounded by sniper fire.
The incident included three parallel shooting incidents: Militants emerged from a tunnel at around 10:30 and fired an anti-tank missile at an engineering vehicle – Major Kula and Staff Sergeant Yaabets were killed in this attack. Shortly thereafter, gunmen carried out sniper fire on another engineering vehicle. Minutes later, gunmen opened fire again using sniper weapons at a force in the area.
