He called for pressure on the Israeli occupation to fulfill its obligations, most notably stopping the aggression, lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip, and bringing in humanitarian aid urgently and adequately.

He warned that the occupying state might use the humanitarian card to blackmail political positions, calling for serious action to prevent the recurrence of the starvation policies practiced by the occupation during the years of the siege. Al-Tawila.
