"Aviation Safety Transformation Summit" Recommends digital integration and uniform standards to enhance risk analysis

Dubai, 24 October / WAM / The Aviation Safety Transformation Summit 2025, at the conclusion of its first session, recommended strengthening digital integration between regulatory bodies and airlines to ensure real-time risk monitoring and proactive response, calling for the adoption of unified safety standards in cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The pivotal recommendations issued today included expanding the scope of exchanging non-sensitive data to develop an early warning system, and supporting research and development in the use of artificial intelligence to improve risk prediction. It also called for developing specialized training programs in risk management and digital air safety, enhancing institutional safety culture, and adopting effective governance practices to raise the sector’s readiness.

These outcomes came at the conclusion of the two-day summit organized by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, with the participation of an elite group of global leaders and experts and representatives of international organizations and airlines.

In this context, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Linjawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, stated that the conclusion of the summit represents the beginning of a new phase of joint work towards a safer and more sustainable future. He added: The ideas and visions we witnessed reflect Dubai’s constant commitment to promoting innovation and adopting technical solutions that consolidate its position as a global center for leading development in the field of aviation safety.
The summit witnessed interactive training sessions that discussed the latest innovations in data analysis and artificial intelligence to address technological and environmental challenges.

At the conclusion of the summit, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority affirmed its commitment to continue working with partners to translate these recommendations into practical initiatives that enhance Dubai’s position as a leading global center in aviation security and safety.
