"Manar Abu Dhabi" A full program of events in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 24 October / WAM / The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is organizing the second session of the “Manar Abu Dhabi” exhibition, which will be held in the city of Al Ain, from November 1, 2025 until January 4, 2026, and in Abu Dhabi from November 15, 2025 until January 4, 2026.

Manar Abu Dhabi, the public art exhibition dedicated to the arts of light, brings together 15 artists and art groups from the Emirates and the world, representing 10 countries, including the Emirati visual artist Sheikha Al Mazrou, the Dutch multidisciplinary studio Drift, and the Malaysian artist Pamela Poe, along with other elite artists.

The activities of the second edition of the exhibition will be held under the title “Your Guide, Suhail Star,” during which 23 innovative light artworks will be presented, ranging from luminous sculptures, statues, light shows, and immersive experiences designed specifically for the sites, to explore light as a guide and a medium that combines navigational and poetic dimensions at the same time.

The exhibition is organized by artistic director Kai Hori, with the participation of curator Alia Zaal Lootah, curator Munira Al Sayegh, and assistant curator Maryam Al Shehhi. Its activities are held in key locations, including Jubail Island and the Al Mina Souq, and for the first time in the city of Al Ain, through cultural paths extending to the Al Qattara and Al Jimi oases in an artistic celebration of the unique environmental systems of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its diversity. The exhibition includes an integrated public program that includes a series of dialogues, workshops, experiments and artistic performances.

In its second edition, Manar Abu Dhabi Exhibition presents a series of lively artistic performances that celebrate creativity and cultural dialogue between different peoples.

As part of Manar Abu Dhabi’s commitment to supporting education and promoting cultural participation, the exhibition presents a program specifically designed for Abu Dhabi universities, which includes a series of key lectures in which artists from the exhibition participate.

“Manar Abu Dhabi” includes a program dedicated to exploring topics related to weather, health, and communication with nature, presented in cooperation with a number of local and international entities.
