Abu Dhabi, 14 March / WAM / “Fazaa”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Family, announced the launch of a community initiative that grants “Fazaa” membership for free discounts to families residing in the UAE, coinciding with the “Year of the Family 2026”.

This initiative comes from the vision of the UAE government, which views resident families as part of society and a partner in the process of development and prosperity, and an embodiment of the state’s approach to enhancing community cohesion, supporting family cohesion, and improving the quality of life, as family stability and well-being constitute an essential pillar in building a cohesive and sustainable society.

The initiative also carries a message of appreciation for every family that has chosen the UAE as a homeland for life and work, and an affirmation that Emirati society is based on the spirit of cooperation and integration between the various cultures and human experiences that live on the territory of the country.

The new membership allows resident families to benefit from a wide network of services and discounts that cover various aspects of daily life, the most prominent of which are: offers and discounts at more than 34,000 commercial outlets inside and outside the country, and discounts on more than 28,000 food and consumer products through Fazaa stores, in addition to discounts on accommodation and travel packages in more than 500,000 hotels around the world through the “Fazaa Places” service, in addition to discounts of up to 70% on tickets and entertainment activities via the application. “Fazaa”, in addition to exclusive offers on distinctive products and services.

To ensure ease of registration, Fazaa announced the activation of the registration link through the official website www.fazaa.ae, allowing resident families to submit a membership application and activate it easily. A technical support team has also been allocated through the call center to answer inquiries and facilitate procedures for activating digital cards, provided that the family includes at least one son or daughter, and that membership is valid throughout the “family year 2026” and expires at the end of the year.

In this context, Her Excellency Hessa Abdul Rahman Tahlak, Assistant Undersecretary for the Development Sector at the Ministry of Family, said: “Resident families contribute with their generosity and cultural diversity to enriching Emirati society and enhancing its open cultural identity, stressing that the UAE believes that the well-being of society begins with the well-being of every family living on its land, and that the stability and happiness of families represent a fundamental axis in the state’s vision to enhance the quality of life and build a more prosperous and cohesive society.”

Her Excellency added that the initiatives launched by the state in this context come as an extension of the approach of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, who established a humanitarian model based on embracing the human being, appreciating his contributions, and consolidating the values ​​of human dignity and coexistence among all those living on the land of the Emirates.

She explained that the “Year of the Family 2026” represents a national milestone for enhancing the role of the family in society and consolidating the values ​​of interdependence and cooperation, noting that these initiatives contribute to supporting the stability of resident families and enabling them to participate effectively in society.

For his part, Ahmed Muhammad Buharoun, Director General of Fazaa, said that the launch of this initiative comes within the framework of supporting national efforts aimed at providing an integrated living environment that enhances the well-being of resident families and supports their stability.

He added that “Fazaa” is working through this initiative to provide a wide range of offers and services in the areas of shopping, travel and entertainment, which contribute to meeting the daily needs of families and providing various options that support their quality of life.

Buharoun pointed out that this initiative reflects the appreciation of the Emirati community for the role played by resident families and their contributions in various areas of development, and enhances the spirit of participation and belonging among all families living in the Emirates.
