Russia reveals the only obstacle to the joint tunnel project with the United States

The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said that Russia is seriously studying the possibility of building a tunnel linking it to the United States through the Bering Strait, stressing that implementing the project is technically possible.

Dmitriev explained in an interview with CNN: The American newspaper said that Russia is “seriously studying this project”… adding: “This is a project that is technically feasible, but we realize the necessity of overcoming political obstacles first.”
