“General Assembly” wins two awards at the 17th Human Resources Management Summit

In a new achievement that confirms its leadership, General Assembly Bahrain Academy announced that it has won two prestigious awards at the 17th Annual Human Resources Management Summit, Awards and Exhibition for the year 2025. The summit was held in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Abdul Hussein Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labor. These awards are considered among the well-known events in the region that highlight outstanding initiatives in developing competencies and developing human capital. General Assembly Bahrain Academy won the “Excellence in Training Award” and the “Innovative Training Program Award” in an achievement that reflects the quality of its programs and its role in preparing national competencies in the fields of technology and digital skills. This honor reflects the confidence of institutions and partners in the academy’s methodology based on practical training and developing the skills required in the labor market, in addition to its commitment to supporting the digital transformation process in the Kingdom through educational programs that are in line with international standards and national needs.

Winning the “Excellence in Training Award” reflects General Assembly Bahrain’s commitment to providing high-quality training programs linked to the needs of the labor market to achieve tangible results at the level of employment and skills development. The “Innovative Training Program Award” confirms the academy’s ability to provide modern training solutions that go beyond traditional methods, through flexible programs that include full- or part-time training camps, in addition to advanced professional paths in fields such as Python, Java, and data science. These programs target multiple categories, from students and job seekers to professionals and career changers. This approach relies on strong partnerships with employers to ensure that skills are applied in practice and enhance trainees’ readiness for the labor market.

Since its launch in 2022, the academy has provided extensive training programs that have contributed to the empowerment of more than 2,100 Bahrainis through 79 training batches within 13 specialized programs. Its programs are characterized by high graduation rates and tangible employment results within a short period not exceeding nine months from the end of training, which reflects the trainees’ confidence in the value of these programs and their practical impact on their career paths. The academy’s model relies on learning based on realistic projects and practical application under the supervision of trainers with experience in the market, with continuous updating of the content to be in line with modern technical developments such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, ensuring that skills are aligned with the needs of the labor market.
