The series “Natural Disaster” by Mohamed Salam starts showing today
Today, Wednesday (October 29), the social comedy series “Natural Disaster” begins, via one of the Egyptian digital platforms, in which the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salam, presents his first absolute heroism in Egyptian drama, after he was a major reason for the success of a group of the most famous artistic works, such as: “The Big One” with Ahmed Mekky, “In La La Land” with Donia Samir Ghanem, and “Their Uncle” with Mohamed Imam, and the “Natural Disaster” series is considered a new departure for Mohamed Salam towards absolute heroism, It combines humanity and comedy in dealing with issues of daily life.

The events of the series “Natural Disaster”, consisting of ten episodes, revolve around a man from the lower class of society, who is trying hard to build his future and secure a decent life for his family after his marriage. He is surprised that his wife is pregnant with quintuplets, and finds himself in a social, humanitarian and financial predicament in his social life and work, a problem that expresses a wide sector of Egyptian society.
A group of stars participate with Mohamed Salam in the series, including: Kamal Abu Rayya, Jihad Hossam El-Din, Hamza Al-Aili, and Mohamed Mamdouh. The series is written by Ahmed Atef Fayyad and directed by Hossam Hamed.
The series “Natural Disaster” will be shown at a rate of two episodes per week every Wednesday, starting today, Wednesday, October 29. The author of the series, Ahmed Atef, denied, in his responses to the audience, who asked about the details of the series, that it was inspired by fiction, stressing that the events of the series are based on a real story, of an ordinary Egyptian husband and wife, who were exposed to a situation that suddenly changed their lives.
Atef stressed that the focus of the event presented in the series could happen to any normal person, which is that a wife gives birth to quintuplets at once, pointing out that cases of multiple twins are not rare, and that the record recorded in Egypt was for a woman who gave birth to nine children at once, and the journalist Amr El-Laithi hosted her on one of his television programs.

The artist Mohamed Salam received a warm reception from the public and the Egyptian media, after his first artistic appearance two years ago, at the “Homeland of Peace” celebration, which was held last Saturday in the “Arts and Culture” City, in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Salam received warm applause the moment he appeared on stage, and a close-up shot of him showed him being affected by the audience’s interaction, while his eyes were filled with tears, as he had participated in a documentary film entitled: “Guardians of the Sands,” which was shown during the celebration about “Stories of the People of Sinai and Its Heroes.”
