Pakistani Foreign Ministry: We hope for positive results from the next round of talks with Kabul

Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman, Tahir Hussain Andarbi, said today, Friday, that his country hopes for “positive results” From the next round of talks with the Afghan Taliban movement, scheduled for the sixth of next November.
The spokesman explained – during a weekly press briefing for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry – that “Pakistan will continue its involvement in the mediation process, and hopes that the November 6 talks will yield positive results,” according to “The Dawn” newspaper. He explained that the talks were originally scheduled for only two days, but they extended to four days in an attempt to reach a friendly agreement with the Taliban regime.
The new round was determined after Pakistan and Afghanistan agreed to continue the ceasefire between the two countries, following a rapid deterioration in relations and the outbreak of limited clashes on their common borders earlier this month.
