Signing a memorandum of understanding between the Arab League and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications

 Today, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Social Affairs Sector – Department of Education, Education and Scientific Research) and the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the University.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Ms. Minister Plenipotentiary Enas Al-Ferjani – Supervisor of the Social Affairs Sector, and from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, President of the University.

 

The memorandum comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation and partnership between the General Secretariat of the University Arab countries and Chinese academic institutions include a number of diverse areas of cooperation, including holding an Arab-Chinese forum on digital policies, organizing short-term training programs in information and communications technology at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States for students of the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as well as holding short-term training programs on Chinese culture, Chinese language and digital knowledge for employees of the League of Arab States, in addition to a number of activities related to artificial intelligence and scientific research.

 

Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications was founded in 1955, It is directly managed by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It is a multidisciplinary, research-oriented university that focuses on the fields of engineering and science, and is distinguished by its specialization in information technology.
