Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed visits Emirates NBD

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the headquarters of Emirates NBD Bank in Dubai CommerCity, where His Highness was received upon his arrival by the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Emirates NBD Group, Hisham Abdullah Al Qassim, and a number of the group’s senior officials.

During the visit, His Highness met with members of the group’s Executive Committee, where he listened to an explanation about the group’s strategy, its overall business, and the banking services it provides, whether to individuals or institutions, as well as the group’s activity in the field of wealth management. He also learned about the group’s vision and the approach it follows in managing its business locally, regionally, and globally.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the entire work system in the group, which includes a large staff of more than 30,000 employees from 90 nationalities, which gives the group a competitive advantage based on the diversity of experiences, which enhances its ability to innovate comprehensive solutions that meet the needs of various markets.

During the visit, His Highness also met with members of the Emirates NBD Youth Council, which is a practical translation of the vision of the wise leadership and its continuous directives regarding creating all the enablers that will enhance the role of youth, and give them sufficient space for innovation and creativity in all fields. His Highness was briefed on the council’s objectives and its vision of how youth can contribute to consolidating the position of Dubai and the UAE among the most important global financial centers.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his appreciation for the quality services provided by the Emirates NBD Bank Group based on a long history, whose beginnings date back to the early sixties of the last century, to today become one of the most important and leading banking groups in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region.

His Highness took memorial photos with the group’s work team, who expressed their happiness with this visit, and the implications it carries that are a source of encouragement to continue working to improve the level of quality services provided by the group.
