Pearson and Deron win the professional competition titles in the Dubai T100 Triathlon

Dubai, November 15 / WAM / American Morgan Pearson won the men’s category title, and Swiss Julie Deron won the women’s category title in the professional competition in the main race of the Dubai T100 World Triathlon Championship, which was held today with the participation of an elite group of the game’s most prominent stars.

The competitions extended for 100 km, including 2 km swimming, 80 km cycling, and 18 km running. The stages of the race started from Jumeirah Beach 3, passing through the bicycle path, which included a number of the most prominent landmarks of Dubai, all the way to the Meydan Racecourse.

The event is held by the Professional Triathlon Athletes Organization and the World Triathlon Federation, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism as part of the Dubai Fitness 30×30 Challenge.

With the results of this round, the competition remains open for the titles of champion of the “Race to Qatar” season for men and women, before the final round scheduled in Doha on December 12 and 13, where Deron advanced to second place in the overall standings thanks to her victory in Dubai.

The tournament activities will continue tomorrow with the amateur triathlon race, which will witness the participation of Dubai-based endurance athlete Ghani Soleimani, who is preparing to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by completing the T100 race for the hundredth time in a row, in an unprecedented achievement.
