The film Bab was screened for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa as part of the Cairo International Film Festival

The film "Bab" Directed by Emirati director Nayla Al Khaja, in its first showing in the Middle East and North Africa, at 9:00 pm on the Small Theater at the Cairo Opera House, within the “Midnight Shows” section.
Also, “Bab” A feature film produced by the United Arab Emirates, spoken in Arabic, with a duration of 97 minutes.
The film presents an immersive psychological journey through the story of Wahida, who finds cassette tapes hidden behind a green door, to begin to uncover the threads of the truth behind the death of her twin sister… As the tinnitus that haunts her increases, her journey leads her deeper into the mountains, where troubling secrets are revealed to her that change the course of her life.
Also, Director Nayla Al Khaja is considered the first female film director in the United Arab Emirates, and her first feature film, “Three,” was screened. In 2024, achieving international screenings in several countries, including Turkey. Al Khaja is known for using distinctive color palettes and complex interior decorations, while her works address themes of social stigma and personal transformations through a multi-layered visual narrative.
