Ammar bin Humaid reviews the stages of implementing the development plan for the Financial Audit Authority in Ajman

Ajman, November 26 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Financial Audit Authority in the emirate, reviewed the stages of implementing the comprehensive development plan for the authority, which comes within the framework of His Highness’s directives to enhance the efficiency of institutional performance and modernize the regulatory work system, in line with the aspirations of the Emirate of Ajman and the “Ajman 2030” vision.

This came during His Highness’s visit to the agency’s headquarters, today, Wednesday, where His Highness reviewed the stages of implementation of the plan and its main axes, which aim to improve the methodology of supervisory work, develop national capabilities, and expand specialized training programs, in a way that contributes to consolidating the principles of governance and transparency and supports government efforts towards developing its services.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman said that effective supervisory work is a guarantee for achieving efficient spending and quality performance, and our goal is to build a regulatory body that has readiness, flexibility, and the ability to keep pace with rapid changes, in a way that supports the Emirate of Ajman’s steps towards leadership and enhances its experience in good governance.

His Highness added: We believe that oversight is not just procedures, but rather a partnership in developing government performance and motivating entities towards innovation and commitment to the highest standards of governance.

His Highness said that developing the device represents a fundamental priority during the next stage, stressing that the task assigned to the work teams within the device is not easy, but it is important and pivotal in serving government agencies and supporting their efficiency.

His Highness explained that there are two types of censorship: Oversight contributes to directing the entities, developing their performance and raising their readiness, and others look for mistakes, indicating that the trend in the Emirate of Ajman is based on strengthening the first type of oversight as a partner in the industry of improvement and improving performance.

His Highness stressed the importance of the agency being a permanent support to government departments by providing clear performance reports that contribute to improving their work and improving their services, stressing that the Ajman government is keen to strengthen the role of the agency as an independent oversight body that establishes the principles of transparency and accountability, and supports integration with regulatory bodies locally and federally, while benefiting from the best international practices to ensure the quality of oversight work.

During the visit, His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman honored the distinguished employees of the agency, praising their efforts and the achievements achieved by the agency to support the performance and development of government agencies to enhance the principles of corporate governance in the emirate.

For his part, His Excellency Shehab Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Financial Audit Authority in Ajman, confirmed that the new development plan represents a qualitative shift in the institutional work process of the Authority, indicating that it is based on expanding and modernizing the methodological structure of oversight, enhancing the capabilities of work teams, and developing programs to qualify national cadres to support the goals of the Ajman 2030 Vision.

He explained that the agency seeks to build a proactive oversight system that relies on modern tools and innovative technologies, capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the government work environment, especially in light of the efforts aimed at eliminating bureaucracy and developing government services, ensuring more effective and flexible government performance.

The development plan represents an important milestone in the agency’s journey, as it sets a clear framework for building a modern and sustainable regulatory system that accommodates the requirements of the next stage of development, and keeps pace with Ajman Vision 2030, which focuses on enhancing government performance, developing services, and raising the efficiency of institutions to achieve comprehensive and balanced development in the emirate.
