My problem is not the work, but my financial rights and the damage I suffered

Syrian actress Kinda Hanna issued a lengthy statement on her official Instagram account in which she commented on a crisis between her and a production party, stressing that the existing dispute is not related to the nature of the work or a change in professional opinions, but rather revolves around what she said were “overdue financial dues” and “damage” caused to her as a result of poor production management.

She said in her letter that she did not face any problem throughout the filming period, and only demanded her rights, noting that what she described as “behaviour inappropriate for work from the beginning” was the reason for the exacerbation of the dispute. She added that the statements being circulated by the director and producer aim, according to her, to create a dispute between her and her colleagues and make her appear to be evading responsibility, which she completely denied.

She confirmed that despite the decline in the level of discussion, she is still waiting to obtain her rights, stressing that she no longer wants to work with the producing party because of what she described as “unprofessional methods.” She concluded her message with a prayer, affirming her confidence that “God is the truth.”
