More than 100,000 worshipers celebrate the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center.

Abu Dhabi, March 16 / WAM / The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center received more than 183,870 guests in its affiliated mosques on the 26th and 27th night of the current month of Ramadan.

In detail, the number of guests at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi reached 101,260 guests, including 60,485 worshippers, of whom 8,056 worshipers performed Tarawih prayers, and 45,846 worshipers performed Tahajjud prayers, behind the Imams Abdullah Al Balushi and Idris Abkar, while the number of those breaking the fast reached 39,400, and the center worked to distribute more than 1,500 suhoor meals were served to the worshipers after the end of the Tahajjud prayer rituals, and the number of vehicles that entered the mosque reached 15,966 vehicles.

As for the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque in Al Ain, it received 57,605 guests, including 37,655 worshippers, of whom 5,576 worshipers performed Tarawih prayers, and 28,642 worshipers performed Tahajjud prayers, behind the two imams, Dr. Omar Al-Darai and Yahya Aishan, while the number of people breaking the fast reached 19,950 people breaking the fast.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah received 21,020 guests, including 11,320 worshippers, of whom 2,406 worshipers performed Tarawih prayers, and 6,133 worshipers performed Tahajjud prayers, behind Imam Alaa Al-Mazjaji, while the number of people breaking the fast reached 9,700, and the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah received 3,573. Worshipers, including 704 worshipers who performed Tarawih prayers, and 2,754 worshipers who performed Tahajjud prayers behind Imam Abdel Basset Abdel Samad Al More.

The mosques’ halls, corridors, and outer courtyards were filled with worshipers who prayed to God Almighty to grant the UAE the blessing of security and security, and to guide its wise leadership for the good and well-being of society, and to forgive the founders of the state and have mercy on them and all the dead Muslims, and to accept obedience from all, as part of the double readiness in the four mosques to provide all the means of comfort and reassurance to the mosques’ guests, which meets the needs of all of them, regardless of their categories.

Within the framework of the integrated services provided by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, and given the expected large turnout of worshipers on the night of the twenty-seventh of the holy month, the Center took proactive steps to facilitate entry and organize the smooth flow of access to the mosques. The center has allowed worshipers to enter from all entrances in various directions. It has also provided 8,379 parking spaces at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, including 1,500 parking spaces designated for women, and 60 parking spaces for people of determination. In addition, additional parking spaces have been made available in the area opposite the Grand Mosque Street from the western side at the Coexistence Gate.

The Center also allocated other parking lots in Zayed Sports City, Erth Hotel, and ADNEC, in addition to the Eastern Mosque parking lots adjacent to “Wahat Al Karama.” To facilitate the arrival of worshipers and ensure the smooth flow of traffic around the mosque and its entrances, the Center provided a bus transportation service between those parking lots and the mosque back and forth during the odd nights of the holy month.

In the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque in Al Ain, the center provided 2,176 parking spaces, including 28 parking spaces designated for people of determination, while in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah, it provided more than 2,000 parking spaces. The center cooperated with both Abu Dhabi Police and Fujairah Police, which developed an integrated plan, increased the number of police personnel, and intensified and increased the number of traffic patrols, to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and easy access for worshipers to the mosques.

The center’s management has harnessed all its capabilities to serve the guests of God, starting with receiving worshipers at the parking lots, organizing their entry into the prayer halls, providing electric cars to transport them, as well as distributing coffee and dates to them, and providing them with comfortable medical seats and wheelchairs to facilitate the movement of senior citizens and people of determination inside the mosque.

He also worked on furnishing the outdoor spaces with carpets, such as the courtyard and the hallways, in addition to providing paper carpets for the worshipers in the outdoor spaces adjacent to the hallways. He also provided large quantities of drinking water bottles and the Qur’an.

In confirmation of the center’s most important value, “We volunteer as a thank you for giving to the nation,” the work teams and organizational committees consisting of all the center’s employees raised their readiness and the teams worked side by side with volunteers from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the “Absher Ya Watan” volunteer team, the Ma’an volunteer team, policemen, paramedics, civil defense men, and employees of parking lots and assistance for traffic systems, as the center doubled the number of volunteers, which reached approximately 600, all of whom contributed to providing the best services to the worshipers to perform their prayers with reverence and ease.

The work teams at the center continued their work at a high pace after the end of the night of the twenty-seventh, in order to receive visitors to the mosque in the morning period from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm throughout the last ten days of Ramadan. The mosque receives more than 21 thousand visitors daily during the holy month, and thus the center has provided its integrated services to worshipers and visitors around the clock during the holy month of Ramadan.
