“JK Cement" Launches a new industrial facility worth 6 million dirhams in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah, November 27 / WAM / JK Dry Chem Industries LLC, a subsidiary of JK Cement, announced an investment of 6 million dirhams in establishing its new industrial facility within the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones (RAKZ).
The facility will form a regional center for the production of advanced chemicals and additives used in the construction sector, contributing to promoting industrial development and strengthening the company’s regional supply chains.
A new facility leasing agreement was recently signed between RAKEZ and JK Dry Chem by Ian Hunt, CEO of Customer Experience at RAKEZ, and Amit Kotari, Business Director for the Emirates and Africa and CEO of JK Dry Chem, at the Compass Business Centre.
The facility extends over an area of 5,000 square meters and is scheduled to begin operations in January 2026 within the Al Ghail Industrial Area of RAKEZ. It is expected that in its first phase, it will contribute to providing about 50 specialized jobs in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, in addition to producing a range of high-performance materials, including liquid additives, ready-made additives, dry mixes, and coatings, which will enhance the efficiency and sustainability of construction operations.
JK Dry Chem chose RAKEZ because of its strategic location and advanced industrial infrastructure, as well as its proximity to Saqr Port, the largest bulk handling port in the Middle East, which provides easy access to both imported raw materials and export markets. In the first phase, the company is focusing on supplying the UAE market with its products, with plans to expand its exports to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Amit Kotari, Director of JK Dry Chem Company, said: “Our choice of RAKEZ was a strategic decision in line with the vision and directives of the Director General, Dr. Raghavbhat Singhania. The economic zone provides world-class infrastructure, efficient establishment services, and a supportive work environment that enables us to achieve sustainable growth in the Middle East and beyond. The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah continues to strengthen its position as a leading industrial destination, and we are proud of our role in supporting its industrial system and expanding our regional presence.”
For his part, Rami Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ Group, said: “The construction and building materials sector in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is witnessing remarkable growth, which creates promising opportunities for industrial companies such as JK Cement to expand and innovate. We at RAKEZ are proud to provide the ideal platform that combines advanced infrastructure, easy procedures and low-cost facilities to enable our partners to grow efficiently. The launch of the JK Dry Chem facility embodies the vitality of the growing industrial system in The emirate, and our joint commitment to support the growth of the sustainable industrial sector.”
