Sharjah Police announces exemption from traffic points for violations committed before December 1

Sharjah, November 27, 2025 – The Sharjah Police General Command announced the exemption from traffic points for violations committed before December 1, 2025 if they are paid before January 10, 2026, on the occasion of the country’s celebrations of the 54th Union Day.

Sharjah Police explained that the discount on traffic violations continues at a rate of 35% upon payment within 60 days from the date of the violation, and includes the financial fine, the period of impoundment, and the vehicle impoundment allowance. It also grants a discount of 25% after 60 days and before one year from the date of the violation, and includes the financial fine only, excluding aggravated traffic violations and traffic points.

She stressed that the exemption is an important opportunity for drivers to settle their traffic conditions and benefit from deleting the accumulated points, enabling them to continue driving their vehicles within the legal framework and contributing to enhancing the level of traffic compliance and encouraging positive behavior on the roads.

Sharjah Police called on members of the public to take advantage of the available discounts and quickly pay fines through its website or the Ministry of Interior’s “MOI” application, in order to enhance traffic safety and achieve the highest levels of security on the emirate’s roads.
