Faisal bin Saqr: Martyr’s Day is a symbol of pride
Ras Al Khaimah, 29 November / WAM / Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr Al Qasimi stressed that Martyr’s Day is not just a remembrance, but rather a day of honor and pride, and a day of glory recorded by the United Arab Emirates, so that its flag will continue to fly high thanks to the heroes who performed their national tasks and duties inside and outside the country, in all civil, military and humanitarian fields.
In his speech on this occasion, Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr said that the UAE was and will remain loyal to its children who sacrificed their lives in defense of the right and sovereignty of the homeland, stressing that the blood of the martyrs will remain a beacon that illuminates the country’s march towards the future, and embodies the values of courage, loyalty and sincerity that distinguish the people of the Emirates in the fields of right and duty, as an expression of their love and belonging to their homeland and its soil.
Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr Al Qasimi pointed out that the wise leadership gave the families of the martyrs all the care and attention, in appreciation of the patriotism of those heroes who set the most wonderful examples of sacrifice for the sake of the elevation of the Emirates and the preservation of its security and stability, so that the nation remains a role model for societal cohesion, strength of will, and unity of ranks, sending a tribute of reverence to the souls of the nation’s martyrs and a tribute of appreciation and pride to the mothers, fathers, and families of our martyrs.
