Today the death toll of Floods and Recent landslides in 3 provinces of Sumatra island in Indonesia has increased to 604 people, with 464 others missing, according to what the National Disaster Management Agency announced.
It reported that the floods displaced about 570,000 people in the provinces of North Sumatra, West Sumatra and Aceh.
Damaged roads and the disruption of communications networks resulted in the inaccessibility of some affected areas, as relief supplies are mainly delivered by air.
