A slight increase at the beginning of trading in Wall Street stock indices
rose slightly at the opening of trading on Thursday.
Investors are evaluating new data from the labor market to determine the possibilities of reducing set interest rates at its upcoming meeting next week.
Wall Street Stock Exchange Indices
The rose by (5.3) points, or (0.01%), to reach the level of (47,888.16) points at the opening.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index also rose by (16.8) points, or (0.24%), to reach the level of (6,866.47) points.
As for the Nasdaq Composite Index, it rose by about (0.24%). (73.2) points, or (0.31%), recording (23,527,296) points at the opening.
