The recordings showed the lion driving the car and exchanging laughs with the cub, while he directed harsh insults related to Ghouta and mocked his soldiers and the Syrian people, describing his feeling of “disgust” towards the situation in the country, and even mocked his family name, saying that it “should be changed to the name of another animal.”

Both sides also mocked the Syrian police and the Minister of Interior, while Al-Shibl mocked Major General Suhail Al-Hassan, describing him as “busy putting his foot on Mount Qasioun and taking pictures with Russian escorts.”
